Today, Apple released Beta 7 for iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 to developers to refine and tweak the new features. This update may be the final beta before Apple releases the official version of iOS 14 and iPadOS for the iPhone and the iPad, respectively.
Here are some of the features that came with Beta 7. These features may change when the final versions come out.
Dark Mode Rainbow Wallpaper
The Rainbow Stripe Wallpaper will now feature a Dark Mode settings as well as a Light Mode Setting. Note that the Dark Wallpaper only works when Dark Mode is activated.
App Library Has New Categories
The App Library now has new categories, including Social, Productivity & Finance, Information & Reading, Utilities, Health & Fitness, Shopping & Food, Entertainment, Creativity, Travel, Games, Arcade, Education, and Other.
AirPods Connection Message Fixed
In iOS 14 Beta 6, an incorrect text would appear whenever an AirPod or AirPod Pro connected to an iPhone or iPad. That’s all fixed in Beta 7.
