Apple’s new Silicon Chip is poised to revolutionize the laptop industry

In June, Apple shocked the world when they revealed that all Apple products will soon transition from Intel chips to their very own proprietary Apple Silicon. Tim Cook declared that a MacBook with this new ARM-based processor will be shipped by the end of this year.

Now reports are coming in that the new MacBook will be Apple’s best one yet.

According to details, the Apple Silicon will dramatically improve the MacBook in almost every way. A report showed that the new MacBook will have a battery life approaching twenty hours, a lightyear jump from the current MacBook lineup’s capability. The improvement in battery will also allow the MacBook to run efficiently at lower temperature, which means that noisy fans won’t be needed inside the MacBook anymore.

The key to the new Macbook’s success, however, will not be in its processing power but in the new MacOS Big Sur. With Big Sur, iOS native apps, or apps that can only run on the iPhone, will now be able to run on Mac. In essence, the MacBook will serve as the nerve center of the entire Apple ecosystem.

Apple doesn’t make bold moves like these often. When they do, it’s because they have something special in store. In this case, it looks like we’ll be seeing the MacBook taking center stage more later down the road. For now, it’s already shaking up the laptop and smartphone industry as we know it.
