Apple just had a sneak peek of their new Apple Marina Bay Sands in Singapore this week.

This awesome, lantern-like dome is one of Apple’s boldest store design yet.It sits on the waters of the iconic Singapore Bay, the first of its kind for Apple.

Surrounded by a fully self-support glass dome, the sphere offers a 360 degree panoramic views of the city and its amazing skyscrapers.

Inside, an oculus inspired by the Pantheon in Rome sits at the apex of the dome, providing a flood of natural light in the building.

The glass dome is also surrounded by custom baffles that counter direct sunlight and provide shade.

Trees are also lined up around the dome to blend the green garden city with the Apple Store experience.

Just like in every Apple Store, customers can explore the wide range of Apple products or receive technical support from Geniuses.

The store also features Apple’s first underwater Boardroom where developers and entrepreneurs can receive training and advice from the Apple Team.

On the top floor, customers can participate in Today at Apple sessions featuring Singapore’s artists, musicians, and creators.

Apple Marina Bay Sand is Apple’s third store to open in Singapore and is a testament to the company’s 40 year relationship with the country.

The store will officially open to the public on Thursday, September 10 at 10 a.m. SGT. Opening-day visits will be by reservation only, which can be made on Apple Singapore’s web page.
