Long-time Apple leaker Jon Prosser has reported that Apple is set to unveil the next generation of iPads and Apple Watches on Tuesday, September 8.

Apple press release is currently scheduled for Tuesday (September 8) at 9:00am EST — though, I should note that it’s not locked in until the press has been briefed, day of.

According to MacRumor, Apple has registered eight Apple Watches and seven iPads in a leaked Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) filings. New leaks also showed instruction manuals and design blueprints for the new products. The EEC filings have confirmed that the new Apple Watches and 2 different models of iPad will be released this year.

In the follow up to his announcement today, Prosser tweeted last week that Apple has *something* in store for Tuesday, September 8 as well as the tentative dates for Apple’s event and product release for this fall.

Prosser predicts that the press release will take place at 9:00–12:00 ET (6:00–9:00 PT).

Whether the press release is a written statement or a virtual conference on their website is unclear, but given the importance of the iPad and Apple Watch, Apple will most likely present them via a virtual conference.
