All rumors are pointing to the AirTags being revealed in this October’s Keynote Event.

According to the Japanese site Mac Otakara, Apple will unveil the new AirTags along with the launch of the iPhone 12 models this October.

It’s rumored that the AirTags may come as small disc shapes, making them easily portable. They may also have built-in Bluetooth, ultra-wideband support for tracking, and can play sounds to make it easier to find them. They will also be waterproofed and charged in the same way as the Apple Watch. According to sources, the AirTags may be attached to items by a ring, adhesive, or other methods. No specific method has been confirmed as of yet.

The AirTags is an unusual product in a market saturated with various find-your-lost-item trinkets. However, the iPhone can track and find the AirTags better than other devices thanks to both sharing the Apple ecosystem together.

The iPhone (iPhone 11 models and up) is also equipped with a U1 Chip that can help find the AirTags more effectively. For example, if you lose your keys in the house, the iPhone can guide you to the location of the lost items like a navigational map.

To starting finding your AirTags, simply launch your Find My App on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
